KITCHEN COOK
We are currently looking for individuals who are willing to learn and be a part of a dynamic group. Cooks at Cispus prepare bulk, home-style meals to feed as many as 400 individuals per meal. Experience is not necessary, but a background check and Washington State Food Worker's Card are required. Permits can be obtained on-line at foodworkercard.wa.gov. Compensation offers sick/vacation time and Simple IRA with match of 3% for those who stay over 5 months.

Program Staff, Local
Join our outdoor education team as a Local Program Staff specializing in archery, Rockwall, challenge course, forest ecology, and salmon ecology. This position offers a unique opportunity to instruct diverse programs, foster a love for nature, and provide hands-on experiences for participants.
You will be on the front lines, delivering educational programs to 5th or 6th graders from all over the state. Each day will be different and never dull! This position works from 8 am to 5 pm, with some opportunities outside of that time.
This position is not eligible for housing. If you can commute to Cispus, this is the job for you!

* Promote team building and communication skills among participants by facilitating them through social, emotional, mental, and physical challenges.
* Provide environmental education on forest and salmon ecology fundamentals to participants using activities and outdoor experiential learning to teach.
* Collaborate with team members, programs, and departments to enhance the overall program experience.
* Maintain, organize, repair, and/or construct program resources, provide ongoing training and certifications, and provide off-site outreach or alternative services to the community.
What the work looks like (Responsibilities) :
Cispus provides outdoor school programs for groups that rent our facility. You will be on the front lines, delivering educational programs to 5th or 6th graders from all over the state. This will involve taking students hiking, facilitating a challenge course experience, or even maintaining our vast trail network and aging campus. Each day will be different and never dull!
This position works from 8 am to 5 pm, with some opportunities outside of that time.
